About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Commercial Insurance assistant account manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial lines insurance products and a passion for helping clients find the best coverage options. As a Commercial Lines Insurance Assistant, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients, assessing their needs, and recommending suitable insurance solutions as well as providing support for your account manager.
Key Responsibilities
Policy Management: Maintaining ongoing relationships with existing clients, reviewing mid-term changes and providing policy reviews.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries, policy changes, and claims assistance.
Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to offer additional insurance products that meet the client’s needs.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
License: WA Property and Casualty License required.
Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance or a related field preferred.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance products and industry regulations.
Skills: Excellent communication via email/phone/text, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to build relationships and trust with clients. Bilingual (Spanish) required*
Technology: Proficiency in insurance management software, DocuSign, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
